The Home Office state that the service standard for the Graduate visa is eight weeks, but we know it is often shorter.
As long as you submit your visa application before your current visa expires, it does not matter if it expires while you are waiting for a decision. Once you have made your visa application, you need to remain in the UK while it is decided.
