If you are not happy with the outcome of your appeal, you may be able to request a review of the decision only if one of the following apply:

  • There was a procedural irregularity in handling the appeal
  • There is a compelling argument that the appeal outcome was not reasonable in the circumstances
  • Any request needs to be submitted within 10 working days of being sent the appeal outcome by completing the academic appeal review request form.  The review is not a further investigation; the review assesses the reasonableness of the original appeal decision or if there was a procedural irregularity

You cannot request an appeal review simply because you are dissatisfied with the outcome; you have to establish grounds for a review request to be accepted.

After this stage, if you are still dissatisfied, you can request your cases is independently reviewed by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.
